Wizz Air resumes Bratislava–Tel Aviv route from 28 May
M. R. Štefánik Airport in Bratislava will resume regular service to Tel Aviv from 28 May 2026, operated by Wizz Air with three flights a week. The route was originally due to launch in March, but the Middle East conflict delayed its start.
According to a press release from Bratislava Airport (BTS), the new route to Tel Aviv was originally supposed to launch on 17 March 2026, but due to the security situation in the Middle East, Wizz Air postponed the start. The service is now set to begin in just under two weeks from the announcement, specifically on Thursday, 28 May 2026.

Flights will run regularly every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, in both directions. The route will be served by an Airbus A321neo, which seats 239 passengers.
Wizz Air's Chief Commercial Officer Ian Malin commented on the resumption, noting that the company sees itself as a reliable European carrier and the leading low-cost airline operating in Israel. He stressed that the safety of passengers and crew remains a priority for the company, which is why it approached the decision to resume flights with caution. According to him, Wizz Air hopes that returning to the route will once again connect Israel with Europe's flight network and allow travellers to experience the local culture.
