LOT delays resumption of Warsaw–Dubai flights until December
Polish carrier LOT Polish Airlines will not resume flights from Warsaw to Dubai at the end of October with the start of the winter schedule, as originally planned. According to the airline's booking system, the first resumed flight is now scheduled for December 3.

The delay was spotted by Polish aviation website Pasazer, which noticed a change in LOT's booking system. The route between Warsaw and Dubai will therefore not be resumed right at the start of the winter schedule as originally expected.

According to the planned schedule, LOT is set to offer three flights in the first week of operation, before switching to daily frequency from December 7.
On the Dubai route, LOT previously deployed mainly Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
Similar moves by other carriers
- Air Canada plans to resume its Dubai route only in January 2027.
- Finnair will not fly to Dubai for the entire winter season, even though it previously operated the route seasonally.
- SAS has completely abandoned its planned return to the Copenhagen–Dubai World Central route, which it had wanted to resume after fifteen years, and the flights have disappeared from the booking system.
According to the website, the main reason behind these delays and cancellations is the tense security situation in the Middle East and fears of a possible renewed flare-up of conflict in the Persian Gulf region, which is also reflected in demand for flights to the region still being markedly lower than before the war.
