Aeromexico to launch two new routes to Europe from spring 2027
Aeromexico announced in a press release that in spring 2027 it will open two new long-haul routes from Mexico to Europe – from Mexico City to Milan and from Guadalajara to Paris. Both connections are meant to strengthen the carrier's network between Mexico and Europe.
Starting March 28, 2027, Aeromexico will launch direct flights from Mexico City to Milan's Malpensa airport, operating four times a week. Milan will thus become the carrier's second Italian destination after Rome.
The second new route starts on April 13, 2027, when Aeromexico will connect Guadalajara with Paris CDG. With 1.4 million inhabitants, Guadalajara is Mexico's seventh-largest city, located about 550 km west of Mexico City. The carrier will operate the route three times a week using Boeing 787-8 and 787-9 aircraft.
Besides the new route from Guadalajara, Aeromexico will continue flying to Paris from Mexico City and from Monterrey airport.
Giancarlo Mulinelli, senior vice president of global sales at Aeromexico, said that Europe has long been one of the company's key and most successful markets. According to him, the new routes to Milan and Paris expand the range of connections for travelers and confirm Aeromexico's position as the leading carrier between Mexico and Europe.
